• The first WTA 250 Level Event to be held in a low-income area.
• Gives local kids the opportunity to serve as ball kids and see pro tennis up close.
• The first college tennis recruiting combine in Chicago for minority students to connect with Historically Black Colleges with un-awarded tennis scholarships.
• This event will help fund the XS Tennis and Education Foundation and its mission to provide Chicago’s Youth with an enriching safe-haven and positive pathway to college through a community based tennis and academic enrichment program.
